Description
The general purpose WLD3343 Laser Diode Driver offers precision control with low cost, maximum safety, up to 3 A output current to any laser diode type, and 2 MHz constant current bandwidth.
The WLD3343 maintains precision laser diode current (Constant Current mode) or stable photodiode current (Constant Power mode) using electronics that are compatible with any laser diode type. It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 3 A of current from a single + 5 V power source. Or choose the WLD3343HB to operate with Lithium-Ion batteries, from 3.6 V. Safety features include: Voltage-Controlled Setpoint, TTL-Compatible Shutdown Pin, Adjustable Current Limit and Range, and Over-Temperature Shutdown. An online circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values, and an evaluation board simplifies prototyping.
