Sabeus's low cost distributed fiber-optic hydrophone arrays provide multiple hundreds of acoustic channels on a single fiber and address these threats at a fraction of the cost of traditional piezo-electric and interrometric optical hydrophone arrays.

Sabeus' employs proprietary hydrophone array, booting and filling  capabilities to manufacture long, rugged, high-channel count hydrophone arrays for towed arrays, maritime surveillance, port security, perimeter security, border security and pipeline monitoring applications (intrusion and leak detection)

Sabeus has considerable knowledge  and experience in designing and manufacturing acoustically sensitive fiber optic acoustic arrays for a number of different acoustic missions and makes use of acoustic enhancement fiber coatings to increase acoustic sensitivity by 30-40dB (typ.)

Sabeus' FBG based arrays are cheaper and more reliable than either Michelson or  Mach-zehnder-interferometer based hydrophones.
