Description
Ondax PicoPulse™ Series chirped grating filters are new robust, ultra-compact replacements for conventional fiber and diffraction gratings in ultra-fast pulse compression/stretching applications. Based on a patented Ondax innovation using Volume Holographic Grating (VHG) technology, the PicoPulse™ preserves near diffraction limited beam quality while delivering breakthrough performance that increases power handling and dramatically reduces the footprint required for ultra-fast laser amplifiers. The PicoPulse™ is designed for easy integration, and is the smallest pulse compression solution available.
At wavelengths from 800nm to 1700nm, the PicoPulse™ can introduce pulse delays of 200-300 picoseconds with a spectral bandwidth of up to 10nm, and >90% optical efficiency. It is ideally suited for applications using pulses down to 500 femtoseconds, and produces near diffraction limited beam quality over a wide temperature range.
