Knight Optical’s infrared optical materials are primarily used in advanced thermal systems used in military and security imaging applications. Our infrared components are also used in infrared sensing for engineering and industrial manufacturing and in thermography, where infrared radiation is detected and mapped.
Our infrared optical components benefit from anti-reflection and hard coatings, optimised for your specifications, with DLC for 3 – 5 micons and 8 – 12 microns and AR coatings for custom wavelength bands and multiwavelengths.
