Description
Knight Optical have supplied the instrumentation, research & University and medical and Biotech markets with Quartz windows for many years.
Quartz windows offer high temperature resistance and a wide wavelength transmission range from 230nm to 3000nm. Their low coefficient of thermal expansion make it useful for microscope and other instrumentation devices used in high temperature environments. Quartz windows are also used for high pressure and heat windows, where a high capacity for thermal shock or pressure is required, and where UV, visible and IR light needs to be observed at temperature of up to 1050C. Knight Optical’s Quartz windows have been used for Plasma Asher’s preparation for electron microscopy, UV curing, and ozone generators, as well as for inspection windows for high pressure and temperature systems.
Knight Optical offer the custom manufacture of Quartz windows up to 1000mm in diameter and up to 25mm thickness, with surface flatnesses down to 1/10 wave. Knight Optical offer our full range of coatings including anti reflective, mirrored for heat mirror applications and ITO conductive coatings.
