2. What kind of product/services can I promote on your website?
Photonic-Sourcing.com serves both vendors and buyers from up and down the Photonics-products' chain. As such, if you feel that your product/services are even remotely related to the Photonics industry then you have reached the right place.
3. How do I promote my product/services?
In order to be able to promote your product/services you need to register with our website. You can do that by clicking on the "Register now" tab and filling out a form with some basic company and personal details to set up an account. Once the account is created, click on the validation link sent to the e-mail address you provided to get it up and running. Once you log-in you can click on "Add New Products/Services" to list your product/services using drag-down lists containing categories and sub-categories. Note that any product or promotion will be visible on the webpage only after it is approved by the website-administration team. 4. Why do I need a username and password?
You need a username and password in order to create an account which is accessible only by you and/or staff from your company whom you authorize to do so. It is imperative not only for security reasons but also to maintain a profile page for your company and its products that can be edited if and when required. Multiple accounts with different users from the same company can also be created by clicking on the "Add a new user" tab on the registration page. The name of your company, its type, description, corporate website and country of location are visible to a random visitor of our website. A subscribed user may, in addition, be able to view the full contact details of your company that were provided during sign-up. For more information please visit Privacy Policy . 6. How can I get more information about a product listed on your website?
You can directly contact the vendor/supplier by clicking on the "Contact company for this product" tab from the product page. If you want to respond to a Procurement Request you can do so by clicking on the "Contact buyer now" tab available on the product page. However, you must be logged-in in order to do this. 7. What do I do if a particular product is not available on your website?
You must use the "Add a Procurement Request" feature from the Procurement Panel in this case. Please read about Procurement Request from the "Glossary of terms used on the website" given above. 8. How can I cancel or edit my product/services?
You can cancel your product/services at any time before or after approval from our website administrative team. However, you can edit them only after they are approved. Both the functions can be found in the "Edit Products" option from the "Account Management" tab once you log-in. 9. How can I delete my account?
In order to do that you need to contact our Customer Service Department from Contact Us. Your request will be forwarded to our website-administration team and you will receive a confirmation within 24 hours. 10. How do I appear in your newsletter?
Apart from dishing out the latest news in the Photonics community, our newsletter acts as a powerful marketing tool by upholding one company and its product/services every fort-night to over 8000 companies around the world among which it gets circulated.
